The Public Transport Authority in Kraków undertakes to ensure accessibility of the website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The Accessibility Statement applies to the ztp.krakow.pl website.

Status in terms of compliance with the law
The website is only partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the incompatibilities or exemptions listed below:
- some of the files published on the website are scans of documents published in the .pdf format, they have not been subjected to the optical character recognition (OCR) process,
- some of the attachments may not have a text layer (scan),
- some of the published photos have no alternative description, they are for illustrative purposes only,
- the hierarchy of headings may not be maintained in some documents,
- some films do not have subtitles.
Reasons for inaccessibility:
- the files were created before the entry into force of the Digital Accessibility Act,
- where possible, previously published files will be incrementally subjected to the OCR process, and new files published in formats containing content with a correctly marked logical structure,
- maps are exempt from accessibility obligations.

Information on the procedure
Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a website, a mobile application or a certain element thereof. You may also request access to information in alternative forms, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc. The request should include the identity of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is being requested and how they may be contacted. If the requesting person indicates a need to receive the information in an alternative form, they should also specify the form of that information. The public entity should comply with the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to comply within this time limit, the public body shall inform you without delay when it will be possible to comply with the request, which shall not be more than 2 months. If access cannot be ensured, the public body may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. Where an entity refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be lodged against such action. Once all possibilities have been exhausted, a complaint can also be sent to the Ombudsman.
Architectural accessibility of ZTP buildings for people with disabilities
1. ZTP headquarters and Passenger Service Point (1 Wielopole St.)
The Public Transport Authority in Kraków is located in a historic, multi-storey building at 1 Wielopole St., 31-072 Kraków. There are two entrances to the building – the front (main) entrance from the Poczta Główna tram stop and the side entrance from Starowiślna St. intended for clients served at the Passenger Service Point. Both entrances are not adapted for people with disabilities to access on their own, due to the necessity to climb steps and no automatic doors. In the hall, there is a notice board with information about the location of units on individual floors of the building. Offices are located on the 1st, 2nd and 5th floors. The security cabin is located on the ground floor of the building, to the left of the main entrance.
The Public Transport Authority in Kraków has a portable ramp for people with limited mobility, which allows people with limited mobility to enter the building. In order to use the ramp, signal your intention to enter the building by ringing the bell on the right side of the main entrance to the building. Upon being signaled, an employee of ZTP, in person or with the help of another trained employee, will go to the entrance to unfold the ramp and direct the client to the dedicated information desk located on the ground floor of the building.
The property is not fully adapted to the needs of people with special needs. There are two passenger lifts in the building, not adapted for people with disabilities. Toilets also are not suitable for people with special needs. However, the communication routes in the building are wide enough for people with limited mobility to move freely. Entrance doors to rooms and toilets as well as external and internal keypads for operating passenger lifts are marked with the Braille alphabet. At Wielopole St., near the main entrance to the building, there are three parking spaces for disabled people. You can enter the premises of ZTP with an assistance dog and a guide dog. The building is equipped with a portable induction loop that can be used at all service stations.
2. Passenger Service Point (5A Pawia St. – hall of the Kraków Główny Main Railway Station)
The Passenger Service Point is located in the building of the Kraków Główny Main Railway Station at 5 Pawia St., 31-154 Kraków (unit 33 – next to platform 1, level -1). At the station there are devices supporting the movement of people with limited mobility: elevators, ramps. The station has been equipped with floor markings for blind and visually-impaired people to make it easier to navigate around the facility. In the immediate vicinity of the station there are designated parking spaces, adapted to the needs of disabled people. The entrance and communication routes at the location are wide enough to ensure free movement for people with limited mobility. There are no automatic entrance doors there. There is a counter adapted for wheelchair users with a lowered window. You can enter the point with an assistance dog and a guide dog. The point is also equipped with a portable induction loop that can be used at all service stations.
3. Passenger Service Point (3/5 Podwale St.)
The Passenger Service Point is located in the building at 3/5 Podwale St., 33-332 Kraków. The entrance to the building is not suitable for wheelchair users because of the need to climb steps and no automatic doors. The property is not adapted to the needs of wheelchair users. You can enter the point with an assistance dog and a guide dog. The point is also equipped with a portable induction loop that can be used at all service stations.
4. Passenger Service Point (7 Centrum D)
The Passenger Service Point is located in the building at 7 Centrum D, 31-933 Kraków. There are two entrances to the building. Both entrances are not suitable for people in wheelchairs because of the need to climb steps and no automatic doors. The entrance and communication routes in the building are wide enough to ensure free movement for people with limited mobility.
The Public Transport Authority in Kraków has a portable ramp for people with limited mobility, which allows people with limited mobility to enter the building. To use the ramp, you must signal your intention to enter the building using the bells located at the main entrances to the building. After being sound signaled, a ZTP employee, personally or with the help of another trained employee, goes to the entrance to unfold the ramp and directs the client to a dedicated service station.

5. City bike rental (21 Przewóz St.)
The ZTP city bike rental is located in the building at 21 Przewóz St., 30-716 Kraków. The entrance to the building is partially adapted for wheelchair users to navigate on their own. The entrance and communication routes in the building are wide enough to ensure free movement for people with limited mobility. There are no automatic doors and there is an 8 cm high curb in front of the entrance. You can enter the point with an assistance dog and a guide dog. The building is also equipped with a portable induction loop that can be used at all service stations. There are no designated parking spaces for disabled people near the building entrance.
Any person experiencing difficulties in communicating, in accordance with the Act on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1824), can handle cases at ZTP with the help of:
- a carer,
- means of supporting communication, i.e. e-mail address and website,
- a PJM, SJM or SKOGN sign language interpreter.
Applications requiring a PJM, SJM or SKOGN sign language interpreter services should be made by a person registered as experiencing permanent or periodic communication difficulties, at least 3 working days before the event, by submitting an appropriate application.
